A pure nose expresses subtle characters of gooseberry along with white peach and chalk. The entry is soft and round with a sweetness that is quickly overtaken by the dryness of the wine style. The initial palate is austere and with a crisp acidity that shows great restraint. Tart green apple gives way as delicate citrus characters of gooseberry along with lemons blend with hints of cantaloupe melon. The wine is delicate with a mineral flintiness bringing it a revitalising purity and freshness. The finish is appropriately dry with lasting weight and length.
